Walking the Red Road

Native American Spirituality

Rich Coffey · Walking The Red Road

 The Red Road:

“The "Red Road" is a metaphor for living a spiritual way of life. Black Elk—an Oglala Sioux medicine man and holy man—spoke of all of the people on the red road as being one interconnected circle of people that made a sacred hoop. Only you can walk your journey, but many are on the road.” - Doug Good Feather, Spirit Horse Nation

 About the Music:

The melody—in parallel fourths—features an intriguing-sounding bassoon patch on the Casio PX-S3000. A 6/8 percussion groove propels the tune and the Native American Flute plays the improv solos.
