Add9 chords give the flavor to this tune. Steely Dan's Donald Fagen loves to called them Mu Major chords--kinda silly since they are simply major chords with an added second. IMHO its a rich and pretty sound—especially when played on my signature jazz guitar patch on the D-50.
To many, the events this month (November 2024) have been devastating and this song is kind of a soothing antidote to what craziness lies ahead.
