"Now's the time to trust,
To your wanderlust...
In a mountain greenery,
Where God paints the scenery"
- Lorenz Hart
Music:
Originally posted way back in February of 2018, this tune was redone in June of 2026 at a much faster tempo. For listeners familiar with the old standard "Mountain Greenery," (written by Richard Rogers) listen to the antiphonal melodic motifs. This soundscape is arranged in a pseudo “choral motet” style featuring four trombones. The additional drum groove that weaves in and out of the piece makes it an interesting musical hybrid!
Peaceful and serene, the music is meant to capture the tranquility and harmony that resonates around you when slowly trekking in the wilderness.

Perry Hill, VT- Campfire Trail (mountain biking)
This is taken in one of my all-time favorite places to mountain bike. After an arduous ascent on a doubletrack, one is amply rewarded with an unbelievably gorgeous descent on a trail called Campfire. Its an almost “out of the body” experience—the scenery is so beautiful yet the flow of the trail is so perfect one doesn’t want to stop but just “float” through and be immersed in the heavenly surroundings.
