Clockworks

hypnotic repetition...

"When you're not aware of the clock ticking, that is always a good sign you're enjoying something."
- Hannah Ware

"Don't watch the clock; do what it does. Keep going."
- Sam Levenson

"We cannot turn the clock back nor can we undo the harm caused, but we have the power to determine the future and to ensure that what happened never happens again."
- Paul Kagame

About the Music
I discovered this intriguing pad sound1 that sounded even better as a repetitive bass track. Once I laid that down, the rest of the arrangement came together very quickly. The goal was to keep things simple and restrained and not to overplay—not even for the solos...

Form:
Intro | A B A B C | NAF2 Solo | Bone Solo | B | Fade (NAF and Bone trade 4s)

It ended up to be fairly hypnotic as intended and I thought why not call it "Clockworks" and add a few clock sounds3?
